Run by Frenchman Laurent Herbert, his goal is to make every client feel like they are the center of attention from the moment they are greeted at the reception. Not to cause unwanted self-consciousness, the attention given to them is to make them feel like their day at Le Maquillage is the day. It’ll be the day they become their most chic selves, never again to revert to being less than stunning.

“Laurent is the first ever, and probably one and only stylist, that’s asked me to stand up and turn around in front of him before getting my hair cut. That’s how much he wants to make you look unique and stand out,” said Matteo Guidicelli who has been getting his hair done by Laurent for the last seven years.

Laurent’s creative team also boasts of an impressive roster of local stylists like Edgar Moñtano Jr., Lydia Panesa and Jaybee Jara. They only use products from top brands like L’Oreal, Bobbi Brown, MAC, OPI, and Kérastase to name a few.

Le Maquillage was designed by Japanese designer Kazuma Mizobuchi of Tokyo’s Odyssey of Iska Architect and Associates and Sonia Santiago-Olivares, a highly successful interior designer in the Philippines.

La Maquillage is located on the third floor of the Zuellig building on Makati Avenue.
