Everyone these days is going digital, including premier auction house León Gallery.
The trusted antique and art gallery successfully staged its first online auction in July of this year through their online platform aptly named Leon Exchange Online. Going digital not only means that artworks reach more aficionados from the local art scene, but it also means that selected pieces can be made accessible to an international audience who is especially interested in collecting Filipino artwork.
This month’s auction will include pieces by budding artists and some of the most recognized names in Philippine art from the likes of Isidro Ancheta, Jack Salud, Simon Saulog as well as national artists Vicente Manansala, Benedicto Cabrera, Ang Kiukok and Cesar Legaspi to name a few.
Open to budding and seasoned art collectors, interested parties can register for the auction at LeonExchange.com. The auction is scheduled on 2p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016.
