College sweethearts Miguel Abellada and Stephanie Yap tied the knot last November at the Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus in Newport City. The reception was held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom where several hundred relatives, friends and personalities attended to partake in a simple yet elegant dinner.
Stunning in a Jun Escario gown with a long train of lace, the bride and her debonair husband captivated the audience with their laughter and romance in a video presentation. Musical great Gary Valenciano also serenaded guests and the couple, making the night even more memorable.
A special highlight of the night’s festivities was the attendance of the whole Aquino family including President Benigno Aquino III, who took time off to attend his nephew’s wedding. Just like the President, Miguel and Steph also attended the Ateneo de Manila University.
