Each year, PeopleAsia recognizes society’s movers and shakers of the year in a highly anticipated red letter affair — the PeopleAsia “People of the Year” Awards Night.
“Our annual People of the Year awards is a tradition we started 12 years ago to recognize and honor these exceptional men and women whose achievements not only encourage but empower,” described PeopleAsia publisher, president and CEO Babe Romualdez in his speech at the ceremony’s 2017 edition held on Jan. 30 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila’s Grand Ballroom.
