Not a few few would agree that Christmas is the Filipinos’ favorite time of the year because of family reunions, gift-giving and loads and loads of good food. While these are all true, the Yuletide season can also mean horrendous traffic, long queues at restaurants and congested spaces, from parking lots to malls.
As we usher in this joyous and busiest of seasons, Okada Manila unveiled what could be an ideal alternative venue during the holidays and beyond–The Garden, a sprawling spread of greenery in the city where you can take an afternoon off from overcrowded areas of the metro and witness a breathtaking view of the Manila Bay sunset. And the good thing about it is it’s big enough for you to have your personal space. The newest attraction is also ideal for outdoor celebrations and events of any kind.
“The Garden is more than an outdoor space—it’s an integral part of Okada Manila where guests can enjoy life’s best moments under the sky with people they treasure the most,” says Ivaylo S. Ivanov, Okada Manila’s vice president for hospitality, during the official opening of The Garden.
The launch of The Garden marks the 80-percent completion of Okada Manila’s entertainment complex. Other must-go-to facilities of Okada are The Fountain, COVE Manila and Play. There’s still a lot to expect from Okada’s array of amenities come 2019.
Alongside the unveiling of The Garden, Okada officially welcomed the holidays with a grand Christmas tree lighting ceremony along The Fountain Foyer, where guests were serenaded by Chorus Vocales Philippines, Hazel Faith and Monique Lualhati.
With a vision rooted from omotenashi and magokoro, both Japanese principles of heartfelt hospitality and sincere services, Okada Manila is said to be one of the top premier lifestyle and entertainment destinations in the country today that offers a total package of gaming and hospitality.
The Garden is located at the Coral Wing Lobby, Okada Manila, Parañaque.
