In 1869, the House’s iconic champagne, Moët Imperial, was created. It is the epitome of Moet & Chandon’s distinctive style — elegant color, a sparkling bouquet and a generous palate combining sumptuousness and subtlety. The Imperial was created as a tribute to the relationship established with Napoleon Bonarparte and Jean-Remy Moet, grandson of the Maison’s founder.
A global movement in champagne history recently took place with the annual Moët & Chandon Grand Day. On this day of sparkling celebrations all over the globe, friends and guests of the champagne house from 80 regions worldwide all gathered together to raise their champagne glasses in a worldwide toast.
This year also marked the 150th anniversary of Moët Impérial, a global icon of celebration since 1869. Right from the start, Moet Imperial was destined to be a superstar and a universal staple of the most glamorous parties and events throughout the world.
In the Philippines, Moët & Chandon Grand Day was also celebrated accordingly with a simultaneous grand parties which took place in three different venues. Moet & Chandon Studio 1869 happened at Xylo in Bonifacio Global City, Aqua at Angeles, Pampanga and Oqtagon in Cebu, transforming the venues into golden glittery champagne dreams. All three clubs recreated the Moët & Chandon Studio 1869 experience, “a party like no other.”
The new Limited-Edition Moët Imperial 150th Anniversary bottle was also made available starting on the Moet Grand Day celebrations. Party guests were the first to drink from the distinct bottle and create their very own #MoetMoment.
