AXA Philipines’ new brand campaign is designed to empower us all

AXA Philippines launches its newest brand campaign with help from tennis legend Serena Williams, who shares with the world how self-belief helped her overcome obstacles and achieve her dreams

One of the leading insurance providers in the country, AXA Philippines, is sharing stories of triumph and empowerment through its newest brand campaign “Know You Can,” which aims to empower people to live better lives by believing in themselves.

“We, at AXA Philippines, are here to inspire our customer to go further in life, whatever their game plan may be,” explains AXA Philippines president and CEO Rahul Hora.

The campaign features tennis champion and world-renowned athlete Serena Williams, who shares the story of her own journey toward self-belief. From learning tennis on the public courts as a kid to struggling with a life-threatening ailment and coming back to competition after child birth, Serena exemplifies the mental and emotional fortitude it takes to pull through. And she did it all by simply believing in herself.

Together with the National Basketball Association (NBA), AXA Philippines held a series of activities that were aligned with this new brand message. This included a meet-and-greet event with Denver Nuggets point guard Monte Morris and NBA legend Muggsy Bogues, who shared their own journeys of self-belief and inspiration, as well as what it takes to be successful on and off the court.

Both players also attended NBA 3X Philippines, which was presented by AXA. It featured a three-on-three tournament for men’s and women’s teams with interactive fan activities at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall and the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Forum Tent.

Whether it’s the game of basketball or the game of life, self-belief and a strong support system can never be underestimated.
