Tarlac First District Rep. Charlie Cojuangco and wife China Jocson-Cojuangco celebrated their upcoming church wedding through an intimate dinner attended by a few close friends. The two are set to say their “I dos” once more in October — this time in front of the altar.
In lieu of a bridal shower or stag party, the intimate dinner was held so that the couple could spend time with their closest friends. According to their representatives, it was a simple affair, wherein their fully vaccinated guests enjoyed good food and music. In keeping with health protocols, the guests were also tested onsite before being allowed to join the intimate gathering.
Prior to this, Charlie and China quietly tied the knot in a quiet civil wedding ceremony at the Ysidra Cojuangco Compound in Paniqui, Tarlac last April 7.
Aside from the preparations for their church wedding in October, the couple is very active in Charlie’s passion project, the Carlos O. Cojuangco Foundation. “Like me, my wife wants to be an instrument of positive change, to help better the lives of our constituents in Tarlac,” Charlie explains.
