Led by executive director Mariana Zobel de Ayala, Ayala Malls transforms into enchanting wonderlands in time for the holiday season. But more than the giant-sized Christmas trees and sparkling edifices, this year’s celebrations are made more special with the return of a number of well-loved traditions and, of course, the joy of giving back.
“With 2023 being a year of recovery, we’re happy to welcome back our customers across generations to enjoy well-loved traditions at Ayala Malls,” said Ayala Corp. executive director Mariana Zobel de Ayala, in one of the many tree-lighting ceremonies held in Makati recently.
For starters, the retail and lifestyle giant kicked off the season with “A Holiday Trail,” a “Hop on, Hop off” journey in four Ayala Malls. Ayala Malls Circuit, One Ayala, Greenbelt and Glorietta all basked in an enchanting glow, as each one held its tree-lighting ceremony during this holiday tour de force of sorts. To further turn up the festive vibe, special performers like Lola Amour and SB19’s Felip also offered spectacular performances.
Of course, these are but the beginning of many wonderful activities lined up.
Ayala Malls has also prepared themed weekends filled with activities centered around the joy of giving. “Christmas this year for us at Ayala Malls is really about giving your presence and unwrapping the present… pun intended,” Mariana added.
With this said, the mall is set to unveil an innovative exchange gift concept for shoppers and merchants that pays it forward and “gifts back” to others. For instance, “12 Days of Joyful Gifting” delights shoppers with a daily dose of Christmas entertainment and cherished gifts leading up to the grand celebration. “Presents of Gratitude,” on the other hand, enables Ayala Malls to express its heartfelt appreciation to frontline, security guards, sales personnel, Grab and Lalamove drivers and more, as it extends gifts to “the heroes of our community.”
The malls will also offer delectable Christmas treats, meet-and-greet sessions with Santa Claus, expert gift-wrapping services, enticing Christmas sales, a dazzling giant lantern fair, heartwarming chorales and concerts, creative craft stations and more. Mallgoers will also be dazzled by the “Christmas Symphony of Lights,” a breathtaking visual spectacle that will leave one in awe.
Indeed, ’tis the season to be enchanted at the Ayala Malls.
