Carlos Yulo, the Philippines’ two-time Olympic gold medalist in gymnastics, recently added another significant achievement to his name — becoming the proud new owner of a luxurious P 32-million condominium unit in Taguig, gifted to him by Megaworld Corporation.

Kevin Tan, president and chief executive officer of Alliance Global Group, Inc. (AGI), the parent company of Megaworld, personally welcomed Yulo a day after he arrived from Paris to his new, luxurious three-bedroom condo unit in one of Megaworld’s premier residential properties in McKinley Hill. The fully furnished unit comes with a parking slot, home appliances, furniture, fixtures and other amenities.

Megaworld also gave Yulo a P3-million cash reward on top of his new unit. This grand gesture not only highlights the 24-year-old gymnast’s remarkable accomplishments, but also his ascent into a lifestyle of opulence and sophistication.

His new condominium unit is inspired by modern contemporary interior design, featuring clean lines and a neutral color palette that’s accented by touches of gold. Every detail of the space reflects his journey to becoming an Olympic gold medalist, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and inspiring.

Framed newspaper clippings hang on the hallway of Carlos’ condominium unit celebrating his historic wins.

A standout feature is the customized coffee table, which doubles as an oversized replica of the 2024 Paris Olympics gold medal, while the hallway leading to the bedrooms is lined with framed newspaper clippings commemorating his Olympic triumphs.

The company’s representative highlighted that this gesture is not merely about providing a home, but acknowledging the dedication and perseverance that Yulo has demonstrated in his sporting career.

“Together with the rest of the nation, we thank Carlos for giving us so much pride as he showcased to the world the best of the Filipinos’ competitive spirit,” said Tan.

Earlier in the day, Yulo rode a gondola with Gymnastics Association of the Philippines president Cynthia Carrion at Venice Grand Canal Mall for the turnover ceremony.

Upon receiving the keys to his new abode, Yulo expressed his gratitude for the rewards he received, as well as to his supporters.

While he plans to take a brief break, he is committed to compete and showcase his talent once again at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
