Here comes the sun, and this pop-up bazaar, ongoing until March 9, offers an array of Filipino products from different provinces that are perfect for your next beach trip.
The north and south courts of Power Plant Mall transformed into a tropical paradise as ArteFino recently unveiled its summer lifestyle pop-up, ArteFino Resort 2025.
ArteFino is a collective that aims to bring Filipino artisanship and creativity on the global stage. It runs until March 9, Sunday, at Power Plant Mall.
From slippers to sunscreen, beachgoers can soak up the island vibes and find something to bring home from this summer-themed marketplace in the middle of Makati’s urban jungle.
Below are some of the featured products in this four-day fair:
Sunscreen

Most commercial sunscreens contain ingredients that cause coral bleaching and are toxic to marine life. In 2016, the founders of Magwai decided to make their own physical sunscreen with zinc oxide that is not harmful to coral reefs but offers the same level of protection from sunburn.
Fine footwear
Pamela Alicia does not sell your ordinary flip-flops. These handmade, export-quality slippers from Bacolod feature straps that are covered in mother-of-pearl and beads—a perfect accessory to protect your feet from the hot sand as you take your leisurely walk by the seashore. Each pair costs P 2,499 – P 2,799, depending on the design.

Aside from flip-flops, espadrilles are the perfect summer footwear because of their breathable material, and Liliw, Laguna has been known for its footwear industry. These handcrafted pairs by Jhaz Footwear will surely add a pop of bright color to your summer trips.
Towels and more

This social enterprise born in Vigan offers handwoven products made of inabel. Its colorful towels double as beach mats or shawls, perfect for both sunny days and breezy nights by the beach. Abel PH also makes blankets and pillow cases, and accepts customized orders.
The perfect summer dress
This light and airy summer dress by Domesticity/Tilia is both chic and comfortable. It comes in different colors and designs, and makes use of traditional and intricate embroidery techniques.
Beach bags

These R. Filart bags with quirky designs based on sea creatures are light, roomy and easy to clean. The products also feature indigenous materials from different parts of the country.
