One hundred and three years ago, an American traveling book salesperson by the name of David H. McConnell gave a group of women a chance to earn their own bread and butter — independently, and by doing things that actually interested them.
For the first time in their lives, these ladies could proudly call themselves professionals and businesswomen. Many years later, Filipino women (and men, too!) would become part of this extended core groupm become members of Avon — an organization founded by McConnell and dubbed “the company for women.”
Today, Avon Philippines has grown to become the number one direct-selling company for women’s products like cosmetics, skincare, intimate wear and accessories, as well as a leading fragrance brand.
In 2017, the company saw no better way of celebrating Avon’s consistently strong presence in the Philippines by making fresh-faced beauty Liza Soberano their newest fragrance celebrity spokesperson and the official brand ambassador for Avon’s best selling scent, Sweet Honesty.

As a fragrance popping with a delicate floral scent that brings one back to the innocence of young love, Liza’s youthfulness was a perfect match to the feminine scent.
“That’s what I love most about Sweet Honesty — it brings me back to the unforgettable innocence of first love. It’s like feeling the butterflies in my stomach all over again,” Liza says, sharing an experience other young girls can relate to.
Liza puts a stamp on her new role as Avon’s Sweet Honesty ambassador with her own signature featured on a limited edition Sweet Honesty eau de cologne bottle, as well as a limited edition roll-on purse concentre. The special edition bottles will be sold nationwide through Avon dealers and representatives for a limited time.
