For two consecutive years, Megaworld Iloilo Business Park (IBP) has hosted the Dinagyang Parade of Lights, featuring over 20 well-designed and illuminated  floats and displays from participating schools, local-government units, civic organizations and festival sponsors. More than 10,000 tourists and locals flooded the entire stretch of Megaworld Boulevard, which is located within the 72-hectare IBP township in Mandurriao, Iloilo City, last January 26 as participants showcased exceptional and extravagant floats

Each participating float was judged based on its splendor and grandiosity, uniqueness and originality, lighting effects and workmanship, and creativity. The winner of the annual Parade of Lights received a total amount of Php 250,000 in cash prize. The event wrapped up in a jaw-dropping fireworks display, which lighted up the skies and wowed thousands of spectators who flocked to the township to witness the event.

This festivity continued at the Festive Walk Parade with a resounding live performance by Ely Buendia and his new indie band, Apartel, and party beats brought by international DJ, Jetfire. The whole span of the Festive Walk was flooded with visitors to enjoy the culinary feast at the strEAT Festival. People chose from a wide variety of food from stalls, which served grilled seafood, barbecues and street food, such as fishballs and kikiam, lechon and much more. Friends and family gathered together to enjoy cold booze and other refreshing drinks while listening to some live and upbeat performances.
