Add notes to your ‘bouquet list’ with the new Chloé Atelier des Fleurs collection

Roses are red, violets are blue, and Chloé’s 19 fragrances will definitely woo you.

There’s a new bouquet in town — one that comes, not with actual flowers, but with 19 scents that express floral, aromatic or woody notes. All these await perfume lovers at the newly opened Chloé Atelier des Fleurs in Rustan’s Makati, where they may avail themselves of their favorite scents in pairs,  in threes, or even more, just as they would when arranging flowers in a bouquet.

“At Chloé Atelier des Fleurs, each perfumer understands that the fragrance you choose are personal. You can pick scents the same way you put together a bouquet,” says Bettina De Los Santos, brand manger of Chloé in the Philippines. She further adds that the concept breaks the codes of traditional perfumery, and allows its wearers to express their own, unique personality, through the scents they choose.

Tin Conde, senior training manager of LuxAsia, which brought the concept to the Philippines, further adds that, “Here, you are the master perfumer. All you need to do is to know which kinds of fragrances appeal to you.”

Each fragrance has its own signature scent, blended by renowned perfumers from their favorite flower upon the luxury fashion house’s invitation. These talented perfumers drew upon their olfactory memories to create these personal, not to say intimate, fragrances steeped in authenticity for Chloé.

Naturally, Manila’s most stylish flocked at the perfume atelier’s opening. Garbed in chic white, the ladies and gents spent the morning enjoying the brand’s extensive variety of scents, before heading to Blackbird for a sumptuous three-course lunch. Right after dessert — and a birthday song for Rustan’s Commercial Corp. senior vice president Mike Huang — guests ended the afternoon on a sweet note, after a flower arrangement masterclass led by event stylist Ginger Gaddi. — By Jose Paolo S. dela Cruz
