Admiral Hotel Manila conquers the Michelin Guide and The World Travel Awards

The luxury boutique hotel recently earned twin accolades from these prestigious award-giving bodies.

The Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery emerged as the lone hotel brand from the City of Manila to secure a spot in the latest edition of The Michelin Guide. Its inclusion, according to the hotel’s management team, is testament to Admiral’s “dedication to excellence in design, architecture, service quality, price value, overall personality and local anchorage.”

A tried-and-tested barometer for travelers and foodies, The Michelin Guide also featured five other hotels from Palawan, Siargao, Cebu, Makati and Pasay this year.

“Being recommended by the Michelin Guide is a tribute to our pursuit of excellence. From its design to the local touches in the guest journey, every detail is geared to instill a sense of elegance and to evoke a bygone era of Manila, which was once dubbed the Pearl of the Orient. A recognition in The Michelin Guide is a badge of honor, not just for the property, but also for the country and Filipino hospitality,” says general manager Matthieu Busschaërt.

Asia’s Leading Design Hotel for 2024

It doesn’t end with The Michelin Guide either. The Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery was also recognized as the 2024 Asia’s Leading Design Hotel in the recently concluded World Travel Awards for Asia & Oceana, which is  considered as the “Oscars of the travel industry.”

The two-year-old Admiral Hotel emerged victorious among 12 other hotel contenders including Aman Kyoto in Japan, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok in Thailand, Hotel de la Coupole – MGallery in Vietnam and InterContinental Kaohsiung in Taiwan. This accolade reflects the hotel’s commitment to offering world-class Filipino hospitality through its food and beverage programs, event activations, guest experience touch points, unique historical tours and excellent service.

With this, the Admiral is competing with Armani Hotel in Dubai, Bulgari Resorts in Indonesia and Dubai, Raffles in Qatar, and Hotel de la Coupole, also an MGallery property in Vietnam to be the World’s Leading Design Hotel for 2024.

With over 123 distinctly themed floors, which include its six Executive Suites and the spectacular Doña Presidential Suite, the Admiral Hotel offers a unique experience to its guests on every level. It effectively captures the olden charm of the Admiral Hotel of the early 1940s and reinterprets it through its use of modern art, as seen in its sculptural installation of floating pages in its narrow yet well-appointed lobby.

The Admiral Hotel Manila is one of the first MGallery properties in the Philippines and a brand under Accor, one of the world’s top international augmented hospitality groups.
