Afternoon tea inspired by Raffles and Swarovski’s timeless elegance, attention to details

The ongoing invitation at Raffles Makati features such exclusive delicacies as the green mango tart with sea grapes, seared tuna with mango cilantro salsa and desserts like the crystal glazed raspberry, white wine coconut spritzer and crystal-inspired praline. It also includes the classic and apple scones, and a choice of TWG tea.

Raffles Makati recently introduced its Swarovski Afternoon Tea at The Writers Bar. A collaboration between Raffles and Swarovski, two iconic brands that both embody over a century of timeless elegance and meticulous craftsmanship, the afternoon tea is ongoing until Nov. 30.

Founded in 1895, Swarovski’s expertise in precision-cut crystal has earned global acclaim. Similarly, since opening its doors in 1887, Raffles has been synonymous with gracious personalized service, refined elegance and a touch of glamour.  This merger of legacies promises an afternoon tea experience like no other.

The launch brought together an esteemed guest list of Swarovski executives, media representatives, influencers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and the country’s beloved celebrities.

In his welcome remarks, Raffles Makati’s Cluster General Manager Bernd Schneider announced, “The partnership between Raffles Makati and Swarovski is a celebration of history, luxury and innovation. Our shared passion for excellence has resulted in this exquisite afternoon tea experience, a testament to our commitment to creating memorable moments for our discerning guests.”

Echoing his sentiments, Raffles Makati Director of Sales & Marketing Eugene Tamesis commented on the delectable offerings. “The Swarovski Afternoon Tea is not just about luxury, but a culinary journey. Our carefully crafted menu mirrors the precision and beauty that Swarovski stands for.”

The event further sparkled with a Swarovski jewels activity that captivated attendees, followed by an enlightening presentation from Raffles Makati’s Executive Chef, Bela Rieck, who detailed the unique components of the afternoon tea. Among the many delicacies showcased were the green mango tart with sea grapes, seared tuna with mango cilantro salsa and desserts like the crystal glazed raspberry, white wine coconut spritzer and crystal-inspired praline.

The package also includes the classic and apple scones, and a premium choice of TWG tea. Priced at P3,000, this delightful afternoon experience is good for two people.
