The “pinkest” movie of the year has just blown into town! Put on your pink heels (or sneakers) and dance your way to Ayala Malls Cinemas where you’ll find nothing less than a fun, fashionable and immersive screening experience like no other.
Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, one of most anticipated movies of the year, has landed in theaters! To welcome the “pinkest” movie in town, Ayala Malls Cinemas has prepared plenty of exclusive offers and activities to make your Barbie dreams come true!
Barbie rules the cinemas
Last July 19, girls and boys of all ages gathered to celebrate the most iconic stylista on the first day of screening at Greenbelt 3. Families, couples and barkadas who all looked chic in pink flocked to the cinema while flaunting their Barbiecore fashion.
Celebrities and personalities spotted on the pink carpet were Kylie Verzosa, Bubbles Paraiso, Sam Concepcion, Vanessa Matsunaga, Tricia Centenera, Jaz Reyes, Karen Bordador, Ashley Garcia, Ry Velasco, Renz Pangilinan, Bonita Peñaranda, Alex Godinez, Sam and Paolo Valenciano, among others.
Real-life Barbie cuties Olivia and Amelia Manzano-Reyes also graced the pink carpet together with dad GP Reyes.

To celebrate the special screening of Barbie, the cinema lobby was turned into an activity-packed haven for fans who wanted to live out their Barbie dreams. In partnership with Rolyo Skates, guests were able to roll in rainbow-colored skates and learn the basics. Collectors also had their fair share of fun as they looked through Barbie and Ken dolls, courtesy of Toys R’ Us.
Filling up their cravings, guests enjoyed 8Cuts burgers and The Movie Snackbar’s limited-edition Pinksicle Popcorn flavor, which is a sweet and candy-fruity variant.
Adding to the fun experience were snap-worthy installations where guests could pose for the camera in full Barbie vibe. The interactive photowalls included a Barbie box, where moviegoers could enter the box and pose like the dolls that they are! Another was a pink convertible and opposite it was a bus stop by the beach.
