In celebration of the iconic shoe brand’s 125-year legacy of heritage, Florsheim set up a special pop-up exhibit at Glorietta in Makati City, where the gents had a great time trying on fantastic shoes and hanging out in an exhibit space that doubled as a classic leather spa, a mini-barber shop (for a quick shave and cut) and more.
Marking a new era of design, Florsheim also proudly showcased its latest collection. As Florsheim Asia Pacific general manager Zack Ku manager noted, the brand moves forward on its 125th-year by expanding its market to a younger generation. “We used to focus on lawyers, bankers, the forty-something crowd, but now another market segment is emerging,” he says.
True enough, new styles that channel the more casual sneakers and slip-ons now make a debut on the Florsheim shelves. While casual in style, these shoes are just as special as their more iconic counterparts. The new additions of sneakers and slip-ons still bear the fine craftmanship that Florsheim is known for. And they come in the finest leather, too.
