Decked with pastel-colored flowers and dramatic lighting, the party also doubled as a thanksgiving celebration for Cathy, who couldn’t help but shed tears of joy for the overwhelming sense of gratitude she felt for the many blessings that have come her way during these challenging times.
Despite her business being affected directly by the pandemic, she and her staff continued with their charity work through “Joy of Compassion.” In return, a number of beneficiaries both here and abroad also gave special messages to their benefactress for all the love and support they’ve received.
And not withstanding the success of the CV brand over the decades, the company isn’t resting on its laurels, as it continues to grow, expand and adapt to the new normal. Cathy gave a glimpse of what’s in store for 2022, as the beauty maven signed up actress and model Jessy Mendiola, who’s now part of CV’s growing list of top-notch endorsers.
Surprises continued way into the night, as family, close friends and CV endorsers who couldn’t join the party in person delivered warm and heartfelt video greetings to the birthday celebrant. Those who attended were rewarded with a sumptuous sit-down dinner and musical numbers. After being unable to see each other in person for months, guests were also eager to catch up and snap photos with one another and the Birthday Girl.
