The creative and personable sisters hope to inspire people to appreciate and imbibe the interior design process through their body of work, including a number of Metro Manila’s trendiest bars, hotels and restaurants, as well as some of the country’s most iconic and magazine-worthy residences and condo units.
One of the country’s most sought-after and multi-awarded interior designers Ivy and Cynthia Almario opened the doors into their design world with the recent launching of their Atelier Almario YouTube channel.
Though officially founded in 1995, the origins of what would eventually become Atelier Almario studio began in California, where the creative and very personable sisters spent their formative years honing their craft and talent for designing high-end residences and offices before returning to Manila to establish the design firm.
Over the next two decades, Atelier Almario would go on to amass an impressive clientele, including a long list of who’s who consisting of visionaries and titans of Philippine industry. But it is the quality of their residential work that catapulted them to the forefront of commercial design. Their best works can be seen in some of Metro Manila’s trendiest bars, restaurants and hotels. Their masterpieces have also been featured countless times in the pages of the country’s leading newspapers and lifestyle glossies.
Using examples from some of their iconic residential projects, they will share with followers their insights on interior design, interior architecture, lifestyle and choosing the right furniture pieces. They hope to do so by coming up with engaging stories complemented by their insights and practical examples using actual spaces.
Ivy and Cynthia hope that their videos will encourage people to think and appreciate the design process and share their love and passion for interior design, an area that has gained prominence and more than its fair share of interest, as people spend more time these days at home.
