As one of the featured speakers at the International Master Course on Aging Science World Congress, Belo is giving a talk on fractional carbon dioxide, lasers, threads and a less painful and invasive way to achieve your dream nose.
Dr. Vicki Belo, one of the country’s premier beauty authorities, will present a paper at the International Master Course on Aging Science World Congress in Paris, which is ongoing until January 28. The best and the brightest names in dermatology, plastic surgery and aging science are attending the annual event at Palais des Congres.
Belo is slated to present two papers discussing key specializations of the Belo Medical Group, in front of and among some of the most celebrated aesthetic physicians around the world, including practitioners in the United States, Australia, Europe and the United Arab Emirates.
The country’s most recognizable “beauty doctor’ will hold an open stage lecture on “A Pilot Study: Combining Fractional Carbon Dioxide Laser and PDO Threads in Treating Skin Laxity and Brow Ptosis in Asian Patients,” a procedure done to achieve the effect of an eye lift without need the for surgery. She will also be a contributing lecturer on the subject of threads, discussing “Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Using Polydioxanone Threads in Asian Patients,” commonly known as HIKO threads— a minimally invasive Korean treatment that promises a taller and straighter nose without the hassles of a typical surgical rhinoplasty.
While holding the stage at IMCAS is a prestigious feat in itself, the doctor believes that public presentations such as this further seal the Belo Medical Group as authorities in the field of aesthetic science, inviting patients and fellow medical professionals around the globe to learn from the clinic’s world-class expertise.
After all, Belo’s practice finds its core in medicine and science rather than commodified dermatology, and through investing in effective, state-of-the-art, top-of-the-line devices. Beyond personal success, the doctor’s vision is far-reaching, with her desire to promote the Philippines as a competitive player among Asia’s best beauty and medical aesthetic hubs. “I just keep my eye on the prize,” she says. “I keep innovating and staying ahead of the pack. I need to be way ahead.”
