Golden Globes ’24—Round One on the red carpet

The opening act of a long, drawn awards season in Hollywood, the Golden Globes is also the first in a series of contests in the fashion department.

Dubbed by observers as the curtain-raiser to the Hollywood awards season, the 81st Golden Globes Awards night, held Monday morning (Manila time) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, is also Round One in a totally different contest involving stars and their designers—the first in a series of battles royale on the red carpet that culminates on March 10 at the Oscars.
