Grand Hyatt Manila kicks off the yuletide season in style with the Hyatt Christmas Cake-Mixing Festivity.  Beginning a new tradition to usher in good tidings for the merriest of seasons, the luxury hotel invites media to join the maiden run of this event as it showcases the stunning Show Kitchen of The Grand Ballroom.

Spearheaded by Executive Chef Mark Hagan and Pastry Chef Saban Cavlak, the Christmas Cake-Mixing Festivity aims to bring good tidings to all participants by following the rituals of the original ceremony, which originated in Europe in the 17th century.

The ceremony begins as guests are presented with the ingredients of a traditional Christmas cake and, together with the chefs of the hotel, the nuts, fruits, liquor and other ingredients are mixed together in the Show Kitchen. Guests are invited back to the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony in November, when the finished product of the mixed Christmas Cake will be given to them as a gifts.

Grand Hyatt Manila is located at 8th Avenue, corner 35th Street Bonifacio Global City Taguig. For reservations or inquiries, please call +632 8381234 or email manila.grand@hyatt.com.
