Crash Landing on You stars-turned-real-life-couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin welcomed their first child — a son — on Nov. 27, according to MS Team Entertainment.
MS Team Entertainment, which manages Son Ye-jin, said in a statement on Nov.27: “It is true that Son Ye-jin gave birth. Both the mother and child are healthy,”
The baby arrived a few days earlier than expected, as most fans speculated that the actress would give birth in early December. The couple announced that they were expecting in June 2022, a few months after their March 31 wedding and shortly after their honeymoon in the US. Fans have also long known that the two were expecting a son, however, following an announcement they made last Oct.28.
Earlier this year, the actor spoke about fatherhood while promoting his film, Confidential Assignment 2: International. “I asked around, and a lot of people told me that it’s usually like that before the baby is born, but I’ll start believing it once I see the baby. It’ll probably be the same for me. It’s such a huge blessing, so I just keep smiling about it. I’m really happy. I can’t wait until I meet the baby.”
Son Ye-jin also shared a few years back that she looks forward to being a mom. “When I get married, I want to become something precious to a family like that. I’ve never lived with that kind of feeling and I want to try it,” she said in 2018.
