Crimson Resort and Spa in Boracay recently announced the appointment of Patrick Manthe as its new general manager. Located on Station Zero, the world-class establishment is a 192-key resort with 3,000 sq m of powdery white sand beach.
Manthe’s addition to the resort-hotel brings fresh inspiration to its team members. On top of his long track record in leadership in the hospitality industry, his passion for the arts and other creative forms aims to elevate Crimson Boracay’s brand spirit to be one of the most vibrant and culturally exciting destinations under the Chroma Hospitality group.
“I look forward to building upon the Crimson brand that is both bold and expressive, while creating unique experiences and activities that engages all five senses for our guests and the community,” he says.
Manthe was born and raised in the Alpine town of Chur in Switzerland, where he completed a higher diploma in Hotel Management from Swiss School Hotel and Tourism Management. He brings with him over 20 years of experience taking part in dynamic roles and as general manager of properties in Thailand such as the Chatrium Hotel & Residence Riverside Bangkok, U Sathorn Bangkok, and Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok.
Aside from this, he also contributed to the success of well-established international hotel brands such as Moevenpick Hotels and Resorts in Vietnam and Hilton Hotels & Resorts in the Maldives, Australia, Germany, and Switzerland.
