As host to Filipino Design Studio’s third edition, Kultura SM Podium was transformed into a tropical luxe shopping haven, where visitors can enjoy an array of reimagined local fashion and beauty products until Aug. 31.
Now on its third year, Kultura’s Filipino Design Studio showcases an even more diverse mix of guest brands alongside in-house favorites, as its puts a greater emphasis on eco-friendly and sustainable fashion and home finds.
For the fashion-forward, Filipiniana pieces are given a modern update by Happy Andrada, Pampinay, Binibini Marikit, Ethnique, Tahum Clothing, and Tiano by Thian Rodriguez. On the other hand, sustainable fashion pieces are available from the Cachet Collection, which crafts elegant pieces from surplus couture fabrics.
Filipino Design Studio is also brimming with accessories that elevate every look. Check out the chic and sophisticated Lily Jewelry, and fine jewelry and elegant custom pieces by Pamanna Jewellery, alongside intricate and dreamy accents by Matthew & Melka. Sustainable upcycled carabao horn accessories are also must-haves from Kara de Juan.
Artisanal pieces crafted by local communities such as solihiya bags by Alixia Marie, tropical slings and vibrant laptop cases by Woven, chic native bags and baskets by RCB Crafts, and witty statement clutches by Ilha are also for sale. There’s also pasalubong favorite Jim Weaver, which features whimsical artwork on their scarves and pocket squares.
Pili Ani also serves a powerful lineup of skincare and wellness products that use potent Pili and Elemi oils, both of which they harvest locally. Coconut-powered natural skincare by Dermtropics are also available for those who would like to enjoy locally and responsibly sourced skincare items.
And of course, there’s Kultura’s in-house classics like gift-worthy Millie Monday, Casa Juan, and Maison Grid. The Filipino Design Studio also showcases charming home accessories from Amber & Anne and decorative, and environmentally friendly candles by Vintage Candles.
