Making Valentine’s season more meaningful through the five languages of love

And these love languages gain more resonance as we think of new ways to ignite romance and be there for our loved ones—even if we’re sometimes physically far apart—in the new normal.

How many ways can you say “I love you?” The answer is perhaps as diverse as the stars above. But, according to Ayala Malls, one can express love this Valentine’s season based on the five love languages: receiving gifts, acts of service, physical touch, words of affirmation and quality time. And these love languages gain more resonance as we think of new ways to ignite romance and be there for our loved ones—even if we’re sometimes far apart—in the so-called new normal.

What is your love language?

There are five love languages, but everyone has their own way of giving and receiving love. Some may prefer to show love through acts of service or expect to receive love through words of affirmation. Others may prefer giving and receiving gifts. Understand your own love language through Ayala Malls’ “How Do You Express Your Love” quiz on Facebook and share your results with your lover or object of affection.
