Megaworld Corp. launches its eight hotel, Hotel Lucky Chinatown, a new homegrown hotel brand at Chinatown in Binondo, Manila.

Situated along Reina Regente Street, the hotel will be directly connected to Lucky Chinatown Mall via a footbridge. It will be offering 93 rooms and suites, ranging from Standard Queen and Standard Twin to the Junior Suite and Executive Suite.

“With the hotel directly connected to Manila Chinatown’s biggest mall, guests will be able to savor the distinct, dynamic vibe of the Chinatown culture, as they enjoy the sights and sounds of this bustling hub,” says Hotel Lucky Chinatown resident manager Jeremy Russell S. Go.

The hotel also houses a high-ceilinged grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 350 guests in a banquet setting, and can be divided into three smaller ballrooms. It also has a boardroom and three meeting rooms for smaller groups. According to Go, the hotel will be targeting Chinese businessmen and tourists.

In addition, the P750-million hotel has an all-day dining restaurant, the Café de Chinatown, to be managed and operated by the Raintree Group of Companies and Chelsea Kitchen. Among the other highlights of the hotel is the Zabana Bar, spa, sauna, jacuzzi and fitness center. Meanwhile, at the hotel’s atrium is an indoor Zen garden with its own sunroof, which is surrounded by select guest rooms.

Go further explains: “Our idea is to blend modernity with Binondo’s heritage. While Hotel Lucky Chinatown features a modern contemporary design, the moment our guests get out of the hotel, they will feel the culture that is truly Chinatown.”

The hotel’s promotional offers include accommodations starting at P3,188 per night for the 24-sq.m. standard rooms and at P5,888 for its 79-sq.m. suites. These are effective until December 2019.

With the opening of Hotel Lucky Chinatown, members of Club Access, a membership privilege program for Megaworld Hotels, may enjoy the perks, privileges and discounts that come with the new hotel.
