Resilience in the form of fashion

By Hermes Joy Tunac

Patton Studio, a ready-to-wear local brand partners with MovEd Foundation with a campaign that reminds us to stay ‘resilient.’

Founded by Alexandra Eduque, MovEd Foundation is a non-government organization that aims to provide early childhood care and development programs in underserved communities through holistic education, providing children with the foundation to succeed in school.

Through this empowering collaboration, Patton wishes to shed light on the importance of resilience to inspire people worldwide and young companies like Patton not to give up, be resilient, and keep the faith.

Against all odds, Patton launched early last year amid the pandemic outbreak. Resilience is at the core of its team. “We can’t control the pandemic or the outside world, but we can strive to influence it by spreading love and compassion. We want to do our part in making sure more people come out of this stronger, better!” the Patton team shares.

Patton crafted two unique pieces of resilience—the unisex sweater and a hoodie with the word ‘RESILIENCE’ printed on both designs. “We will be partnering with influential voices from around the world, asking them to share their story, creating a digital chain that will hopefully spread wide, inspiring vulnerability and building resilience. The chain will be held together with the hashtag #PattonYourLife,” the team concludes.

Profits from this capsule will be donated to MovEd to support its advocacy of providing quality early childhood education for underserved communities.
