Salvatore Ferragamo captures joy and warmth true friendship brings in Holiday 2021 campaign

This time, it trains the spotlight and focuses on in-person celebration with It’s Movie O’Clock!, a portfolio of photos and videos paying homage to the season of hope and sharing we all love most.

Every season has its share of excitement, but the Christmas and New Year holidays offer us something much, much more: a feeling of joy, warmth and togetherness as friends and family gather, virtually or in-person, to celebrate the most anticipated of seasons. And Italian luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo again succeeds in capturing this mood in its Holiday 2021 campaign.

This time, Ferragamo moves the clock forward, so to speak, taking us into the winter months. But instead of long, dark chilly nights, leafless trees and barren hills blanketed with snow, the brand trains the spotlight and focuses on the holidays, celebration and friendship with It’s Movie O’Clock!, a portfolio of photos and videos paying homage to the season of hope and sharing we all love most.

All the preparations and the joy of anticipation reawaken a desire to dream, and, through the sparkle, color and vibrancy of Ferragamo accessories, a desire to once again celebrate the season together.

Set in an imaginary Italian villa that could be anywhere, just like home can be anywhere when shared with friends and loved ones, the young stars of the campaign get together for a dinner and movie night. That’s not all. Prompted by a mysterious invitation, the initial episode set in Italy will be linked together in future reveals with similar episodes set this time in China and Korea.

Breathing life into the Ferragamo Holiday collection, the diverse cast of actors, composers and musicians shake off their working clothes and put on clothing, shoes and accessories with a festive spirit and timeless allure.

The six Italian talents—Pilar Fogliati, Tezeta Abraham, Hildegard De Stefano, Guglielmo Poggi, Josef Gjura, and Carlo Palmeri—are joined by Jelly Lin and Seulgi, the brand’s two new global ambassadors, who will take centerstage in the second and third episodes of the Ferragamo Holiday tale.

With dialogue straight out of the movies, this short film directed Barbara Anastacio offers you a rare glimpse of the intimacy and warmth of a shared moment. A common set of emotions run through the sequence of images that make up the campaign: the strength of friendship and the strong bonds and intense links that make up such relationships.

As unique as the link Ferragamo has with the innovative creativity of its products and with the world of cinema. A series of references feature unmistakable symbols of the brand and its heritage, including the film chosen for movie night: Salvatore – Shoemaker of Dreams.

Joyful, engaging, happy, this is friendship as seen by Ferragamo. In this story, friendship is beauty, the dream that embodies the brand’s deepest values.

With Holiday 2021, Ferragamo invites us to pause for a moment and savor the details, from an unspoken gesture and smile to a big, warm hug. Details, after all, are part and parcel of the entire picture. More often than not, they also spell the difference.

Ferragamo gifting house

For Ferragamo, there’s neither craftsmanship nor beauty without innovation. That’s why from November onwards, the brand has made available the “Ferragamo Gifting House,” a digitalized immersive space inspired by the theme of the Holiday 2021 campaign.

Thanks to sophisticated 3D animation, the villa set in the campaign was recreated to virtually host the Ferragamo community, allowing everyone the freedom to explore all the rooms and take a closer look at the Holiday 2021 RTW and accessory lines. A highly inclusive experience that will turn each user into a virtual protagonist of the campaign, this unique effect is achieved thanks to the presence of a brand representative who’s available via chat, voice call or video call to assist the user to shop seamlessly online.

The Holiday 2021 collection will also be the star of the window displays in Salvatore Ferragamo flagship stores, online and in all the fashion house’s and its partner’s digital channels.
