One of the world’s leaders in sturdy and stylish travel bags reaffirms its position in the Philippine market with the opening of its newest high-end concept store at The Shoppes at Solaire. The development is a welcome one, especially for globe-trotting Filipinos who are looking for quality and durability mixed with style and cutting-edge technology in their travel accessories.
With a 115-year track record of creativity and craftsmanship, Samsonite remains a key player in the global luggage market. In 2005, the company reaffirmed the premium it places on style and refinement by launching Samsonite Black Label, a luxurious collection of bags and cases designed for today’s modern travelers. The range perfectly balances design, technology and aspiration across three core areas: Retro & Classic, Fashion-forward, and Business.

The innovation continued in 2008 with a tribute to Jesse Shwayder’s original 1910 trunk, adorned with Swarovski crystals. That same year, Viktor & Rolf’s collaboration added an element of surprise, followed by a partnership with McLaren Formula 1 from 2009 to 2010, fusing luxury with high-performance engineering.
