Mallgoers who experience SM Supermalls’ commitment to make malling more delightful during the holiday season will be happy to know that SM Mall of Asia was recognized at the VM Christmas Awards ceremonies last May 9 at the Retail Design Expo held at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London.
SM MOA was awarded top marks in the “Shopping Centres, Town Centres and Airports” category for its mall-wide whimsical Christmas installations, while SM City Pampanga was a finalist in the “Most Outstanding Christmas Feature or Prop” category for its Merry Nutcracker Christmas Centerpiece that featured a 25-ft. grand Christmas display, whose larger-than-life ballerina and two monumental nutcrackers sparked holiday cheer throughout the city.
The VM Christmas Awards trains the spotlight on the best of the best work done for Christmas displays, windows and interiors, giving the artistic teams behind every festive creation due recognition.
It’s another reason to be proud of Philippine talent as the judging panel searches for their awardees far and wide, and out of the many international contestants considered during the competition, SM Supermalls emerged as the sole Philippine shopping mall brand to receive a Christmas award.
Being once again recognized globally, these stellar milestones continue to fuel SM Supermalls’ passion for innovation in making the mall-going experience fun and extraordinary for shoppers!
