Having observed that a majority of water infrastructures were made from galvanized iron (GI) pipes – materials that are prone to rusting and leakage – entrepreneur Antonio Chua moved to improve water-piping systems in the country in 1995. More than two decades later, the innovations he introduced lives on.
During one of his travels abroad, Chua chanced upon Vesbo, a PPRC (polypropylene random copolymer) piping system that safeguards the quality of water, thus making it a viable solution for bringing clean drinking water to every faucet in the country. Since then, the company has become a leading choice among architects and developers for high quality piping needs. Growing the pipeline
After launching the Vesbo PPR Piping Systems in 1996, Techglobal eventually added more brands to its portfolio. These include the Vesbo Biocote PPR Piping System, which significantly increases the lifespan of any waterline system by addressing all issues of leakage and rusting, and directly eliminates virus and microbes making water very safe for drinking; and the VesboMulti-layer UV PPR Piping System, an industry first that is twice more durable than standard PPR pipes and the only completely UV resistant pipe in the country.
Techglobal has also expanded its offerings to high quality (Vesbo Pipes), mid-range, and economical hot and cold water piping. Among its breakthrough products in the latter two categories are the Ecotech PPR Hot and Cold Water Piping System, which is made from Korean raw materials and can ensure leak-proof performance and high chemical resistance for up to 100 degrees Celsius; and the RohrflexPPR Hot and Cold Piping System, which boasts a heightened pressure tolerance of up to 1400 PSI and temperature tolerance of up to 90 degrees for better protection from bursting.
Furthermore, the company has also introduced the Vasen Sanitary HDPE Piping System. Introduced in 2002, this is made using German raw materials and technology. Unlike orange PVC pipes though, Vasen HDPE Pipes are acoustic, leak-proof, UV-resistant, impact-resistant, chemical-resistant, and can tolerate extremely hot and cold temperatures.
