The Ascott Limited Philippines hosted the first-ever Ascott Golf Tournament in Southwoods Golf and Country Club last November. And more than 100 players from Ascott’s account partners and loyal patrons came out to play.
According to The Ascott Limited Philippines’ team, the golf tournament aimed to celebrate the milestones of 2018 and the hotel’s new ventures for 2019. These milestones and ventures pertain to the opening of Citadines Manila Bay City Manila last year and the hotel’s new properties in the pipeline Citadines Cebu City and Citadines Amigo Iloilo this year.
“We’re thrilled to cap off the year and move forward with this kind of activity,” said The Ascott Limited Philippines’ country general manager Daniel Wee. “Our partners and brand partners have shown overwhelming support for this cause, and we’re committed to providing them appreciation in return.”
The said tournament was made possible through the support of and donations from Cebu Landmasters Inc., YHEST Realty, CWC, Skycable, K&G Golf, Mabuhay Miles, Air Asia, Heineken, Diageo, K&G, Maxicare, Ayala Land, Coca-Cola, Hana, Champion and Himalaya.
“The Ascott Golf Tournament endeavor’s to bring together the passion of our partners, and the spirit of our community,” said Director of Sales and Marketing Casey Faylona, who was on hand for the event’s festivities. “We look forward to a bigger event in 2019, where we hope to build on the event’s current successes.”
