Addressing the needs of today’s homes, Toshiba unveiled its complete range of advanced home appliances. With the new products, Toshiba aims to reinforce its presence in the Philippine appliance market, through its local partner Concepcion Midea, Inc., a joint venture company of the Concepcion Group and Midea, and provide homeowners with easy-to-use and efficient appliance solutions to make life easier at home.

“Since we went public in 2014, we have charted a course that would enhance our kind of business, from pushing boxes to one that is intimate when it comes to the needs of our customers,” said Concepcion Industrial Corporation chairman and CEO Raul Joseph Concepcion during the launch. “All we want to do is to serve our Filipino households in the most personal ways we can.”

Toshiba emphasized the Takumi spirit at the launch, which is a Japanese term meant to honor “a craftsman’s approach to work in his relentless pursuit of perfection.” According to the Toshiba team, each product is designed, engineered and manufactured all towards their goals for technological innovation and top-tier engineering craftsmanship.

Headlining the product line is the T-07 series, which features the flagship T-07 washer/dryer, the three-system OrignFRESH™ refrigerator and the top load water dispenser.

The flagship T-07 series washer/dryer comes with SameLoads™ technology. Compared with the normal washer/dryer, the SameLoads™ technology expands the volume of the inner drum up to 25% by making the drum deeper, which helps to effectively enhance drying capacity.

For a modern and more practical kitchen, Toshiba focused on creating an energy-efficient appliance with the first three-system refrigerator in the market, the Toshiba OrignFRESH™ four-door INVERTER refrigerator. Not only does the Toshiba OrignFRESH™ four-door INVERTER refrigerator keep food in its original state of freshness, vitality and nutrition for longer periods of time, but it also transforms by expanding—increasing capacity by 15%—when needed. It can also save consumers up to 20% on energy with its dual inverter. The inverter automatically adjusts compressor speeds to cool and freeze food fast using its minimal energy consumption.

Lastly, Toshiba’s water dispensers offer homeowners high-precision fast-heating and -cooling technology. The dispensers also possess a two-step protection cut-off, an electrical shock protection technology.

As the brand makes its renewed presence felt in the Philippines, it relies on the centuries-old Japanese quality that Toshiba embodies. Toshiba says that consumers can expect to get reliability, durability and harmonized design when purchasing the appliances, meeting all of their home demands and needs.
