Filigree’s newest development, a sequel to its well-received Botanika project, combines luxury of space and promotes a sense of community, while integrating green living and the need for privacy among future homeowners.

Luxury real estate brand, Filigree, recently launched Two Botanika, the second tower of its flagship project Botanika Nature Residences in Filinvest City, Alabang.
Two Botanika, according to Filigree head Daphne Sanchez, will present a brand-new experience with fresh additional features, each designed to incorporate a genuine green and sustainable lifestyle to cater to its market. At the same time, it will carry the significant facets of the first Botanika tower.
The second residential tower’s design, which came from the creative mind of Bill Higgins of Architecture International and Andy Locsin of Leandro V. Locsin Partners, combines nature and space in its offered units, ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedroom bi-level cuts.
All units at Two Botanika offer generous living spaces with deep lanais to bring residents closer to the outdoors. A handful of special units come with grand cathedral ceilings that add an air of luxury for more extensive space, natural light, and aesthetic appeal.
Tina Periquet of Periquet Galicia Inc. is responsible for the design of the model units’ interiors and the space planning of all units to reflect a healthy and open community inside the soon-to-rise Two Botanika. Meanwhile, interior designer Isabelle Miaja of Miaja Design Group sought to further accentuate the amenities with beautiful selection of art and furniture to add more life and color, as well as to give them an urban twist.
Finally, enhancing the Two Botanika’s sustainable living spaces are carefully crafted amenities such as a fitness gym and a Sky Lounge with magnificent views of Filinvest City, Alabang.
Feels like Home
Higgins, who was present during the launch event via Zoom, said that when he and the team first looked at Two Botanika’s plans, including its topography and location, they decided to create something “more organic” and “integrates green living.”
He then revealed that they considered creating a curvilinear form for the residential space to make it more connected to its landscape that “opens to nature,” giving its future residents “a connection to their neighbors.”
Locsin, also through Zoom, further added that Two Botanika’s layout makes its tenants discover the wonder of spaces.
“The plan was to put together the building’s landscape and space so that you feel the shared amenity. The same way as a village that you would imagine,” he said.
At the same time, Locsin said that Two Botanika’s shape would allow good airflow and a restricted view from the other units, giving a sense of privacy to its tenants “just like home.”
For Miaja, she considered the “indoor-outdoor” feel as she designed the amenities for Two Botanika, emphasizing the sense of community that’s bound to emerge from within them, including children’s sense of play and adventure, which a spacious and inviting compound is likely to encourage.
She added that these spaces, which became a luxury, especially during the pandemic, are missing in other residences where “the priority is on quantity and volume rather than quality.”
As for Periquet, it is about those who want to live here, saying that instead of having their dream house, the tenants will own space with routes of greenery all around from the moment they step in. She added that the units have almost everything they can find in a home.
“What we did is to provide everything that the larger space can use. It is not about compression, but defining the boundaries and creating a room for every activity,” Periquet said.
