Four years after establishing the first Philippine store, global furniture and home décor brand West Elm opens its newest branch at Central Square in Bonifacio High Street.
Hosted by Tim Yap, the store launch was attended by more than a hundred VIPs. From celebrities to social media influencers and more, guests came to celebrate the opening of the Brooklyn-born retailer’s second official store.
West Elm also partnered with actress Heart Evangelista-Escudero to feature her artwork on special edition tote bags, which were given out at the event. The bag will also be available for sale at the stores. All proceeds of the sales will go to Heart’s charity, St. Luke’s Corridor of Hope.
The West Elm Central Square store features West Elm’s Fall 2018 collection, which is prominent in its main pillar aesthetics for the season. For this fall, modern, streamlined style, retro accents, textures, rich fabrics, prints and bright pops of color are in, bringing a bold and elevated aesthetic to homes.
The collection includes “Manhattan Living” (inspired by a more modern look), “Organic Architecture” (inspired by the idea of clean, pure lines and color), and Italy’s mid-century bohemian luxe vibe (inspired by a global theme).
Designs for different tastes
Staying true to its commitment to making an impact on everyday life, West Elm designs each piece meticulously to speak to people’s every life stage, decorating taste and budget.
For the living room, colored furniture is always a good choice. Add a little life to the space with the store’s Rosanna Media Console, the Phoebe chair in Pop Art Jacquard upholstery or the Crescent swivel chair. On the other hand, the gray leather Sloane sofa is perfect for those who want a sleeker, sexier vibe to their interiors.
If customers are looking to design an interior built on opulence and luxury, velvet seating and accessories like the Carlo Mid-Century Chair, Roar + Rabbit Swivel Chair and the Paidge Sofa would surely suffice. The Lush Velvet Chinoiserie Pillow or the Pressed Velvet Pillow Cover would also be excellent additions.
Meanwhile, the floral pillows overlaid with geo crewel embroidery, deco-inspired lighting and retro-encased glass vases perfectly complement the fall Faux Botanical Collection.
Decorative accents like metal spun planters, chic trays, modern bar carts and colorful woven rugs also add a sleek touch to commercial or residential space, whether it’s the reversible Cecil Flatweave Rug or the Cotton Canvas Pillow Covers and Textured Border Pillow Covers.
And for the bedroom, homeowners should consider buying the Andes Deco Upholstered Bed and the Stella Metal Bed for a more polished look.
