Sta. Elena Construction and Development Corp. president and CEO Alice Eduardo led the ribbon-cutting ceremony of an eponymous, brand new and world-class tennis and aquatic sports facility at National University Laguna.

Named after the “Woman of Steel” herself, The Alice G. Eduardo Tennis and Aquatic Center (AGE TAC) houses an Olympic-size swimming pool and two tennis courts.
“This center is my commitment in steel and concrete to strengthen the future of our youth by giving them a healthy, meaningful present through sports,” Eduardo said. Humbly, the Philippines’ “Woman of Steel” would not disclose the amount she poured into the project.

Designed to provide Filipino athletes with the world-class training that they deserve, AGE TAC — which stems from a partnership between the National University, Inspire Sports Academy and Sta. Elena Construction and Development Corp. — further elevates the university’s commitment to sports excellence.

In a video posted by the National University on their website, Eduardo also said: “I am happy that Mr. [Hans] Sy invited me to do this for NU. The students really have a special place in my heart.”
