Today’s first-time millennial parents are now finding out how difficult parenting can be. In today’s age, sharing videos and photos of kids and parenthood has its pros and cons. Strangers can easily become privy to our personal life and the scrutiny can sometimes be too much for a child. Meanwhile, social media is also undeniably a great source of support.
This was one of the talking points of Richwell Phils. Inc. during its “Parenting on the Move” advocacy last year. The company advocates for parenting education. And now, with another installment of that same advocacy, “Safety Alert in the Digital Age,” it’s doubling down on child safety.
Presented by one of the leading baby care brands in Japan, Pigeon, the event held a recent roundtable discussion at Cibo restaurant in Makati City to discuss practical solutions to everyday mommy and daddy concerns while focusing on proper parenting in the digital age.
Isabelle Daza-Semblat served as the moderator of the event. The guests speakers discussed how parents, even teachers, shouldn’t feel overwhelmed with the current “information overload” that we are experiencing through social media and the internet. Topics range from creating a child-proof environment indoors and outdoors, bonding and child development and introducing digital technology to children..
Pigeon, Quinny and Maxi-Cosi are exclusively distributed by Richwell Phils. Make sure to watch out for the next Parenting on the Move child care event from Richwell Phils. Inc. and be part of this worthwhile advocacy.
