Those blessed with great fortune are also those most capable of giving back. PeopleAsia puts the spotlight on individuals and groups that have taken the opportunity to do good for fellow Filipinos through their art, passions and influence.

Save a Seat

Kenneth Cobonpue designed six limited-edition chairs used during APEC’s 2015 Economic Leaders’ welcome dinner. The “Yoda” chairs were included in the UNICEF Auction for Action, an auction considered the most successful organized by UNICEF Special Advocate for Children Daphne Oseña-Paez, earning a whopping P8,810,000 in just one night. The proceeds will be used to help save lives of children and mothers in far-flung communities.
