Eat, drink and be merry! Celebrate the holidays at Marco Polo

There is much to be thankful for and celebrate at Marco Polo this holiday season. Come for the hotel’s sumptuous Thanksgiving banquet and for the most delectable, lip-smacking additions to their Class A selections that feature the best of international cuisines, by far.

With special Yuletide feasts scheduled on November up to December, watch as Marco Polo transforms itself from a grand hotel to Christmas feast central! Don’t miss a beat and check out this schedule below:

Nov. 1 to Dec. 31: The first to taste

From Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, Marco Polo invites you to be one of the handful of guests that get to experience — and simply not just taste — their newest additions and experimentations with classic dishes. Familiar dishes get a holiday makeover only Marco Polo can do!

A Monster Treat

Literally big enough for a monster (or for those with monstrous appetites), guests can succumb to a delectable Onion-Blueberry Smothered All-Meat Monster Burger. Packed with a hefty 250 gram US beef patty stacked with 220 grams of bacon and 110 grams salami Milano and topped with caramelized onions and exploding with blueberry filling, this unique take on the ubiquitous all beef burger will do everything but disappoint.

Three Spices of Asia

Continue the journey of Marco Polo and travel through Asia with these three dishes that feature three distinct Asian flavors. Start slow and steady with Singapore’s Sweet and Spicy Prawns that warm the taste buds and heat your core. Climb up the spice ladder and dare to try Indonesia’s famous Beef Rendang that’s known for its deep, almost searing hot, southern flavor. Wrap up the experience with the Thai Chicken Lettuce Wrap that bring in notes of zing and zest that cool you down.

These new offerings are available at Cucina, Connect Lounge, for In-Room Dining and at Vu’s.

Nov. 24: Thanksgiving lunch and dinner

Gear up for the holidays and come prepared with positivity and a grateful heart on Thanksgiving — and wear pants whose waist bands have unlimited stretch, too!

Aside from its mainstay buffet offerings, Marco Polo’s all day dining outlet Cucina will be serving up a traditional  Thanksgiving menu whipped up by none other than Chef De Cuisine, chef Giuseppe Rivoli.

To first tantalize the palette, appetizers of Pumpkin Salad with Walnut and Goat Cheese will be served along with Pork and Duck Terrine to give a glimpse of what’s to come next.

Expect to be satisfied beyond measure with the Roasted Honey Glazed Ham with Pineapple Sauce, followed by Stuffed Roasted Turkey with Dried Fruits and Sausages with Giblet Sauce and Cranberry Sauce. Side dishes of Sweet Roasted Carrots and Grilled Vegetable Marinated in Balsamic Vinegar will also be served to balance out the taste for a completely holistic gastronomic experience.
