Max Mara opens its first store in the Philippines

The Italian luxury fashion brand worn by celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Gigi Hadid and Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, recently launched its first store in the Philippines at Greenbelt 3 in Makati.

To celebrate this milestone, Max Mara Hong Kong deputy general manager Daniela de Piccoli flew in for the official launch. Also gracing the special event were Marilou and Johnlu Koa, as well as the wife of the Ambassador of Italy to the Philippines Maria Rosaria Brizi-Clemente, the Embassy of Italy in Manila’s deputy head of mission Eugeniu Rotaru, Ayala Land Inc. board of director and BPI senior vice president Mariana Zobel de Ayala, Ayala Malls president Christopher Maglanoc, and The Italian Chamber of Commerce president Sergio Boero.

The new Max Mara store showcased the latest collections, including the Max Mara mainline, S Max Mara and its selection of accessories, as well as its iconic coats. 

The luxury fashion brand always aims to strike an “alchemic balance that will make a garment immortal,” as seen in Max Mara’s iconic coats, such as the Manuela, the 101801, the Ludmilla and the Teddy.

At the launch, guests were also treated to a variety of delectable cocktails, as well as pastries such as quichettes and macarons by Lartizan and The French Baker, food brands also owned by the Koa couple.
