This rang true during the finals night of the 2016 Century Tuna Superbods competition held at the Palace Pool Club, bringing together the most perfectly toned, sculpted and ripped bodies. It really was the place to see the sexiest and hottest men and women!

Beginning with rigorous screening processes, followed by personal development workshops for the finalists then onto the pre-finals weekend and finals night, audiences were not left wanting more with candidates strutting and sashaying up and down runways baring it all in swimwear and resort evening wear.
Candidates were not the only ones wowing the crowds. While the competition also celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, previous and current celebrity Century Tuna endorses Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay, KC Concepcion, Xian Lim, Solenn Heussaff, Jessy Mendiola, Paolo Avelino, Gerald Anderson, Elmo Magalona, Isabelle Daza, Aljur Abrenica and Phil Younghusband reunited to add extra sizzle.

The panel of judges was just as sexy with personalities like Greg Banzon, Century Pacific Food, Inc. VP and General Manager, Miss Universe 1969 and Century Tuna’s first celebrity endorser Gloria Diaz, fashion editor and stylist Liz Uy, UAAP basketball star Jerone Teng, Mediaquest and TV5 president and CEO Noel Lorenzana, Intelligent Skincare Inc and Belo Medical Group Managing Director Cristalle Belo Henares, and PC&V Communications President and Chief Creative Officer Ariel Comia who could’ve been candidates themselves!

The competition’s champions were Tom Esconde and Olivia Medina who were dubbed Superbods of the Decade of the Century Tuna Superbods Nation. For Tom, a Filipino-Swedish IT technician, it was his first time to join competitions like this, while Filipino-Canadian Medina already has gained experience from print and fashion modeling.
Bagging first runner-up honors were Clint Bondad and Ambra Gutierrez, while Chet Abella and Ali Khatibi walked away with 2ndrunner up.
